INTERACTIVE SENSORY encourages prospective artists to create touchable, contributive, interactive pieces with singular or varying textures (like silk and sand) so gallery-visitors can get their hands on and participate with the art itself. Excite visitors to awaken all their senses not just the usual (sense of sight) while in our gallery. Maybe utilize jars to enclose scents; perk their sense of hearing with a small fountain or video; let them use their hands to feel a sculptural piece and perhaps invite them to paint/build upon it. The visitor becomes part of the exhibit or, if the art piece allows, an artist themselves utilizing their own immersive creativity. Even exhibiting artists are invited back time and again to play with the art and interact with their own senses.
