Border Lands 2019

The artist’s job is to be a witness to his time in history.”
-Robert Rauschenberg

Join us here on Friday, May 8th at 5:00 pm to enjoy Betty Laduke’s Virtual Exhibition through the Nogales, Arizona/Mexico Border Lands 2019.

In Border Lands 2019, a Sketchbook Journey, Betty LaDuke allows us to travel with her as she experiences both sides of the Arizona/Mexico border. She visits with migrants and asylum seekers, individuals and families from Mexico and Central America as they desperately seek the American Dream of safety and opportunity.

Liberty Arts is grateful to Africa World Press for allowing us to bring you this sneak peek. Migrants, Border Lands and Social Justice will be available through Africa World Press at the end of May 2020.
